Woodberry Down is a luxury development for Berkeley Homes in North London overlooking the West and East Reservoirs of Manor House with great views back towards the City. We were commissioned to design 185 apartments, ranging from studio flats to penthouses as well as the common areas including lobbies and resident’s lounges.
The concept for the three standard interior schemes and one premium scheme were based on the garden squares of London named Cavendish, Grosvenor, Portman and Claridge. These were chosen to mirror the new gardens and park around the Woodberry Down development. The three standard schemes provide the buyer with three distinct finishes options while the Claridge scheme offers a premium finish for the penthouses.
For the crucial marketing images and our fourth show flat at Woodberry Down we also drew inspiration from the architectural details, in particular the vertical anodized bronze fins that frame the building. To complement our chosen finishes, this rich material was brought into our design via bold furniture pieces, lighting and accessories. Thick knit fabrics, tan leather and dark timber were combined with the bronze detailing to create a luxurious palette for the penthouse.
