Efficient layouts, and the right combination of units are essential if a residential development is to be successful. We have worked with many developers to improve schemes where good space planning was not undertaken by the architect at the planning stage. Here are a few examples where we have optimised the internal arrangement to create better and ultimately more valuable homes. An extra bedroom can increase revenue, and two optimal apartments may be more valuable than a single oversized apartment. The examples (pictured) show how we have worked within the consented footprint to minimise the planning implications of any changes.
