This new-build hotel was delivered as part of a mixed use development including a new plaza and landmark office tower for our client, Development Securities. It comprises 252 bedrooms over six bedroom floors, with a restaurant, bar, conferencing and meeting areas, swimming pool, gym and treatment areas at the ground floor level.
The 120-seat restaurant and 40-cover bar, which all work off the same area as the reception lobby is deliberately designed to be very visible from both the front door of the hotel and from the street outside acting as an advertisement both for the hotel and its F&B outlet. The design intention was to produce a bold, bright vibrant interior to compliment the Park Inn branding, and one in which there was a sense of order, structure and degree of sophistication. The combination of crisp architecture and colourful interiors unite flawlessly to provide a strikingly modern and fresh impression.
With the rest of the project, we designed a hotel which is stylish in appearance, hard wearing in performance, achieved at a low cost, giving an image some degrees higher than Park Inn’s original three star position and their objective on this hotel of a four star status.
“The hotel is now being used as Park Inn quality and design benchmark which confirms you are now setting the standards by which others are judged.”
David Enticknap, Development Securities.
