Chris joined the practice in 2008, having completed his undergraduate course at De Montfort University. He remained with us during his Diploma studies at London South Bank where he graduated with Distinction winning awards for design, theoretical writing and earnt a nomination for the RIBA’s Dissertation Silver Medal. He maintains close ties with the University, regularly visiting as a guest design critic.
Chris returned to the practice full time in summer 2013, playing an integral role in a new student accommodation and hotel development in Vauxhall, which he profiled for his part III accreditation in 2014 from The Bartlett School of Architecture.
He has a broad range of experience including high profile hotels, leisure projects and enabling affordable housing development sites at preliminary planning stages. His desire and ability to achieve practical, quality and resource efficient design and his personable approach in understanding client needs has led to him acting as lead architect for a number of hotels, master planning schemes and brand standard development for one of the country’s largest leisure & entertainment companies.
